This is the official website of the Andalusian Champion Dressage Stallion, Pescador ESF (aka Lucero), whose breeding services we will offer in 2012 for the first time.   We are Pam and John Pirkle, the proud owners of this exceptionally talented, 10 year old, 15.3 hand Andalusian stallion who is enjoying a great start in his  dressage career. Currently, he is showing USDF Third Level and schooling Fourth Level, piaffe and passage.

With his three, correct expressive gaits, athletic prowess, work ethic, tremendous presence, beauty and intelligence, Pescador is the perfect mount for the professional equestrian. At the same time, he is also blessed with the temperament, personality and unflappable nature that makes him the perfect partner for the amateur. 

After only two years of USDF dressage competition, under the guidance of our friend and trainer, Gayle Smith-Haro, Pescador ESF has brought home, not only numerous blue ribbons and high point and Regional awards, but has to his credit two consecutive years of USDF, IAHLA All-Breeds Open Championship for First and Second Levels. For his amateur owner, at First Level, he has earned the USDF, IALHA All-Breeds Amateur Reserve Championship and Champion Vintage Award. See “Accomplishments” page for more wins. 

Our goal in offering Pescador ESF for breeding is to combine his exceptional attributes with those of high quality mares to produce champion offspring that will exhibit this marvelous stallion's substance, competitive movement, beauty, kindness and tractability.   Lucero is an excellent choice for discerning mare owners desiring to breed foals capable of competing successfully in breed shows and in the USDF open and amateur dressage arena.
